Champagne Ballooning (For Two)
Description:Once at your chosen launch site you will be met by your pilot who will register and welcome you to the fascinating world of balloon flights. You will then be briefed (including safety issues) on the day's agenda and introduced to Balloon Flights and Hot Air Balloon Rides. Afterwards interested passengers are invited to marvel in the delights of preparing the hot air balloon for take off a process that involves gentle inflation of the balloon to almost seven storeys high. When the inflation is completed a short blast of the burners will whisk the basket with you on board into the skies. Once airborne you will fly whichever way the wind is blowing - a mystery that makes ballooning so unpredictable and at the same time fascinating. Majestically floating above the rolling countryside you will forget the stress and strains of the noisy world below you. Upon unforgettable landing you will be invited to take part in the traditional hot air balloon champagne toast. This will give you and your fellow passengers a wonderful opportunity to talk about the more exciting parts of the flight as well as to learn more about the ballooning world from your pilot and other crew members. To commemorate the whole experience you will be issued your personal certificate signed by the pilot. Then the crew will drive you back to the original launch site where you can all say your goodbyes. Location:Available at 100 launch sites nationwide Dates:Available 7 days a week March to October. Important Notes: Session Length: 3-4 hours Clothing/Equipment Requirements : Casual clothes with long sleeves trousers and a hat/cap are recommended. Ladies are advised to wear trousers. It will be slightly cooler in the balloon than on the ground. It is also advisable to wear good walking shoes or boots no high heels please! Bringing a camera and binoculars is recommended. Food/Drink Included/Available for Purchase : A glass of champagne upon landing is included. Trophies Certificates etc. : You will be issued with a personalised commemorative certificate. Numbers : You will share the balloon with other participants - balloon sizes cater for 2 6 8 10 12 15 17 and 19 people. Weather : : This experience is weather dependant and a weather check with the venue must be carried out before setting out. Height : Minimum 4' 6'' Age : Minimum 16 years Health : You must be reasonably fit to take part. Passengers who are suffering from a serious medical condition who have recently undergone surgery are pregnant or under the influence of drugs or alcohol cannot be carried.
